Prescription Refill Policy: As a general rule, with few exceptions, we aim to refill enough medications to get you back to your next anticipated follow-up appointment. Therefore, if you are out of refills for “maintenance” type medications there is a good chance that you will be required to schedule a follow-up appointment prior to refills being given. If this is your situation please contact the office and schedule an appointment.

For medication refills outside of an appointment please call your pharmacy at least 48 hours in advance, and we will review your request once received. Longer lead times are recommended to reduce your chance of inconvenience due to unavailable providers. Medications are not refilled over the weekend or holidays.

We kindly request you disable any automatic refill option from your pharmacy. This creates an unnecessary amount of confusion in your care, when medications have been discontinued or otherwise changed. It is not uncommon for us to hear that discontinued meds have been refilled by pharmacies automatically.

For weekend refills please ask your pharmacy for a loner supply to get you through the weekend.
